Oak logs from the forests of the Ozark Mountains in NW Arkansas are the source for material used in the finely crafted folding chairs created in the workshop of Made In The Shade.
The logs are milled into boards which are aged for one year before they are turned into parts of the furniture. The parts are assembled with stainless steel hardware and sealed with three coats of spar varnish.
